Methodology & assumptions

Monthly onboarding hours: customers × hours per onboarding. Operational cost: total hours × hourly rate.

Recoverable hours: total hours × inefficiency %. Cost savings use the same hourly rate.

Revenue activated sooner: Applies if you begin billing at go-live or if customer value depends on adoption. Calculated as customers × daily ACV × days saved, where daily ACV = ACV ÷ 365. This represents revenue you could be recognizing sooner by compressing the onboarding window.

Customers saved from drop-off: customers × drop-off % × 50% (assumes half of current drop-off is preventable). Revenue at risk = saved customers × ACV.
